Q: There’s standing water in my basement…what should I do?

A: If you suspect a plumbing problem has caused the water, such as a leaking pipe, call a plumbing professional first. (Avoid walking through standing water, as there is a risk of electrical shock.) Q: We had a water leak and fixed the problem, but there are water stains on the ceiling…should I be worried about this?

Q: How do you dry out my home? How do I know if things are really dry?

A: Our Certified Applied Structural Drying technicians use a variety of techniques and equipment to dry out homes with water damage. Afterward, we do humidity testing and moisture readings to ensure that drying is complete and mold testing to ensure that no mold is present.

Q: Can any of our things that got wet be salvaged?

A: There are a variety of techniques for drying furnishings, household items and valuables, including documents, and we are often successful in salvaging things that our clients didn’t think could be saved. But, while we do our best, every situation is different. We will work closely with you to inventory, pack and remove affected belongings to a separate location for the cleaning and restoration process.

Q: We can’t stay in our home until it’s fixed, but I’m not sure where we should go. What are our options?

A: Our concierge service can help with lining up accommodations in the short term, such as hotel rooms, as well as living quarters when extensive repairs or rebuilding can require weeks or months away from home.
